Cooperation with Det Norske Veritas
Aalesund University College signs cooperation agreement with Det Norske veritas (DNV).
The agreement was signed on January 16th 2012. The collaboration includes a mutual commitment to develop local expertise to benefit the maritime industry in the north west region of Norway.
Aalesund University College and DNV have entered into an agreement to establish an academic environment in north west. The aim is to be a world leader within risk management of advanced marine operations and the human factor. The agreement covers activities in research and development, services and innovation. This is to be carried out in close cooperation with the maritime industry in the region.
