Students win prestigeous award for entrepreneurship.
Students from Aalesund University College formed "Stadt Aqua Systems" as part of their training in entrepreneurship, and have now proven that their ideas have potential far beyond the curriculum.
In the final rounds of Venture Cup, Norway's largest competition for business plans, the jury ranked them highest among the eight regional finalists. Their plans for making an improved enclosure used in fish farming have already gained interest from the large marine industry in Norway.
Aalesund University College has a proud tradition in student entrepreneurship, with several Norwegian championships and finishing second in the European championships two years in a row.
