Photo competition for students
Could you capture the spirit of Norway in a photo?
Aalesund University College invites every student to participate in the first photo competition by submitting their best shots in the following category:
"THIS IS NORWAY"
.
The prizes:
- 1st Prize: Digital Camera
- 2nd Prize: Digital Photo Frame
- 3rd Prize: Book vouchers
Rules:
You must follow these rules to be eligible for the competition:
- Every participant can send max 5 photos
- The file format can be .jpg or .png
- The size of the photo can be max 5 Mb
- Proportion approximately 3:4
- Name of file: name-of -photographer_name-of-image.jpg or name-of-photographer_name-of-image.png
- BlackWhite and colour pictures are accepted
- Theme of the pictures can be: Norwegian lifestyle, nature, people, etc.
- Send a paragraph explaining the story behind the picture
Photos have to be sent to this e-mail address: photo_competition2009@live.no
The pictures will be exhibited and the best 3 will be voted by the students and employees of Aalesund University College.
Key dates:
- Submission closes: 9. November 9 a.m.
- Exhibition opens: 16. November
- Ceremony: 30. November
