Official opening of the new Student Union

Wednesday 20th June was the official opening of the new social meeting place for students, the Student Union "Banken".
SfS, the welfare organization for students, had the pleasure of announcing the new Student Union at Aalesund University College, Banken, officially opened.
We are very pleased that the Student Union has now become a reality, says Rector Marianne Synnes. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this dream come true.
The Managing director of Banken, Ronnie Haug, can hardly wait until the fall when the students return. We are ready to make Banken into the city's best student meeting place, says Ronnie. Banken will be run in cooperation with the student organizations, and can be used for concerts, cafe, quiz nights and many other types of events.
