FIRST Lego League 2009

Saturday 7 November this year's FIRST Lego League tournament will be arranged at Aalesund University College. Theme for this year is ”Smart Move”.
"Smart Move" focuses on having access to people, places, merchandise and services in the safest and most effective way. The competing teams are challenged to find smart transporting solutions with focus on safety and with energy-saving and economically efficient solutions.
Eight teams from primary and lower secondary schools at Sunnmøre and Nordmøre will compete for the best theoretical presentation, technology, programming and invention, together with first and second prize in the robot competition. The robot competition is theoretically related to this year's task.
The official opening is at 12.00 h. in the common area at AAUC. The tournament starts at 12.20 h. The tournament is open for the public.
