For fullprogram bachelor students

All students who apply for admission to fulltime bachelor study programmes need to fullfill all the requirements listed below (exchange students are exempted from these requirements but should have skills on a similar level):

1. Minimum entrance requirements
2. Sufficient skills in English
3. Sufficient skills in Norwegian
4. In addition, sufficient funding must be in order (see below)

Funding and scholarships

There are no tuition fees on the fulltime bachelor programmes, but all students must have sufficient funding to cover cost of living (including accomodation, food, transport, books etc). Please note that Norwegian authorities require all foreign students to document how they will fund their studies in Norway when applying for student visa to Norway. The required amount for the academic year 2011/2012 is approx. NOK 91 000, travel to/from Norway not included. See more information on www.udi.no

AAUC participates in the Quota Scheme programme allowing for admittance of a very limited number of students each year. Please however note that only students who apply through partner institutions will be accepted. See more information about requirements and list of partner institutions here

Additional information

Please note that all fulltime bachelor programmes are taught in Norwegian.

Some study programmes have additional requirements, e.g. Mathematics and Physics on higher level for all Engineering programmes and Nautical Science. Please note that all students must meet the entrance requirements in English also if a study programme is taught in Norwegian.

When applying to AAUC, please note that only complete written applications with certified copies of the required documentation will be considered.

Application form in pdf- version is to be filled in and printed out on paper, signed and sent by regular mail along with certified copies of all required documentation by the deadline.
