AAUC welcomes each year exchange students from mainly European countries - mainly regulated through the Erasmus LLP exchange programs. We do however also receive study abroad students from partner institutions outside Europe. An exchange student can stay for a period of min. 3 months - max. 12 months, but most students choose to stay for one semester (Fall or Spring)

The information below only apply to exchange students and study abroad students.
If you wish to apply for a full degree programme, please choose "Application/admission-non-exchange students" from the menue.

Application deadline

Deadline for students attending courses at AAUC in the Fall semester: May 1.
Deadline for students attending courses at AAUC in the Spring semester: October 1.
* NOTE: it is possible to apply at an earlier date if you need an early reply due to visa application, scholarships or for planning purposes. You should in case ask specifically for an early reply when sending your application.

Application procedures and requirements

All exchange or study abroad students must have their stay abroad pre-acknowledged by their home institution. Please contact your faculty coordinator or international office at your university for more information about application procedures and academic requirements.
Students are required to have a good level of English at the same level as our other foreign students (cf entrance requirements to our bachelor degree programmes and master degree programmes).

Exchange students with good command of the Norwegian language (or Nordic citizens with very good/native command of Danish or Swedish) can apply for attending courses taught in Norwegian, provided they meet the courses' entrance requirements as described in the course descriptions. Information regarding courses taught in Norwegian is available on our Norwegian web site, under "Studiehandbok"

Student housing

AAUC will make reservation for accomodation at the students' hostel, but cannot guarantee that accomodation in the cheapest category can be granted. (Housing application form and information will be published soon).

Other information

In order for AAUC to arrange pick-up service on arrival all students must also inform their exact date and time of arrival at least 3 weeks in advance. We would also recommend that you also put your estimated date of arrival at the application form.
