After passed exam, the student should be able to:

• Initiate, plan, execute and document system design projects
• Perform multi-dicipline projects

1. System synthesis
* Project planning and project management
* Design for function, reliability, production, cost, etc. Life phase analysis.
* Configuration and architecture.
2. System simulation
* System modelling, simulation and analyses.
* Technical documentation, product data, structure and format, PDM tools.
* Risk evaluation and analyses

Lectures, exercises and mandatory project work.

The project work is mandatory. Minimum 2/3 of the exercises have to be approved.
